This is a town in the hinterlands of the municipality of Valverde. This compact town is to the North of Valverde on a slope looking over the Atlantic. It is surrounded by orchards and vines. The town offers typical traditional houses built of stone and surrounded by volcanic gravel and vines. It is said to have the best blackcurrants on the island. From here, there is a path that takes you to Charco Manso, a fantastic natural pool surrounded by lava arches and underwater caves. Echedo has a mild climate all year round.
