The Last Verse

The Centro Cultural Asabanos presents "The Last Verse", a theatrical play that blends fiction and reality against the backdrop of the Vega of Granada. The story centers on Horacio Roldán, heir to one of the region’s most powerful families, who discovers that Federico García Lorca’s upcoming play, The House of Bernarda Alba, is inspired by the Alba family — with whom he shares blood ties, land, and a longstanding rivalry. Unable to shine in intellectual circles and under the pressure of a domineering maternal figure, Horacio embarks on a desperate quest to stop the play’s publication and seek revenge against the poet.
