Temporary Exhibition: From the Earth to the Hand

The Labor Materia exhibition opens tomorrow at the Exhibition Hall of the Cabildo de El Hierro. Titled "From the Earth to the Hand," this exhibit offers a reflection on the origin and transformation process of materials, from their natural state to the conceptualization of the final pieces. The authors, Yusledy Rodríguez Molina and Ylenia Quintero, explore how materials are transformed into art through a process of creation and dialogue. Labor Materia is a series of exhibitions that addresses crafts from a contemporary perspective, presenting proposals as processes of dialogue and transgenerational creation, adapting to different formats according to the discipline and varying in their outcomes with each show.
