Race for the Biosphere

Race for the Biosphere is an initiative that combines sports and environmental awareness on the island of El Hierro. Along a 2.5-kilometer route from Las Puntas to La Maceta, participants run while collecting waste, helping to keep the coastal and marine areas of the Biosphere Reserve clean.
