PR-EH8 San Andrés El Golfo por Camino de Jinama

This path is 7.5 kilometres long and joins San Andrés to El Golfo. This was one of the most common paths used by the shepherds as they changed grazing grounds and homes according to the seasons, in the past (what is known as ‘trashumancias’ when people move from the inner villages to the coast). It is one of the most beautiful hikes on the island, offering treasures of great natural and ethnographic value, although it is difficult and uphill, snaking up to 885 metres.
